PRIMUVIT Cream is a fluid emulsion O/A. Presents an intermediate "tacking" quality (oily feel level) effectively distributed on application among skin's superficial components, reducing oily feeling, and maintaining moisture in a few minutes. Contains, among other ingredients: Primrose oil and Karite butter, forming the cornea layer lipidic barrier. Primrose oil provides essential fatty acids to the epidermis (71% linoleic acid and 9% gamma-linolenic acid), normalizing the deficit of ceramides characteristic of Atopic skin. The origin of dry skin and Atopic skin pruritus is a lack on cutaneous lipids. Linoleic acid maintains the structure and correct performance of the cornea stratum. Linoleic acid is required for maintaining the integrity of the epidermic barrier in contact with water; it also diminishes desquamation and cutaneous dryness, eliminating pruritus sensations on dry and very dry skins, restoring the cutaneous barrier.
The alteration of ceramides biosynthesis also causes dry and Atopic skin. Other components are: Polivitin (combination of carbohydrates) that facilitates the retention of water in the skin; emollient Hydroderm; Willow herb Extract with calming action, Aloe Vera, with emollient, moisturizing, epithelial and anti-inflammatory properties; Chamomile extract, with soothing effect, and Urea that contributes to improve the moisture of the cornea stratum. For its excellent tolerance, it can be used on old people, babies, children, and adults.
Apply on the body daily after bath or shower. During Atopic bouts, use PRIMUVIT CREAM after each bath or shower. Apply twice a day.
