Kojicol Skin Lightener Gel
Prevention and treatment for cutaneous pigmentations (melasma, chloasma, senile spots, pregnancy spots, freckles). Post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentations (Berlocque dermatitis, etc.) Juvenile acne. Skin preparation before chemical peelings.
Oil-free dipigmenting gel containing 3% kojic acid as dipigmenting agent. The whitening effect is increased with a mixture of AHAs (lactic acid, citric acid), liquorice extract, hammamelis extract and castor oil. Kojic acid corrects melanin pigmentations faster and longer than other depigmentants. Inhibits melanogenesis by blocking tyrosine (impeding tyrosine conversion to Dopa and its subsequent transformation into Dopaquinona) and inhibiting the activity of tautomerasa. The gel offers sun protection properties and a moderate antibiotic effect, useful in the topical treatment (focal) of acne lesions. AHAs eliminate the skin's superficial layer (cornea mantle), allowing kojic acid to penetrate the skin better. Liquorice extract, with soothing properties, contributes efficiently to the action of the rest of the ingredients. Hammamelis extract has an astringent and oil-regulating action.
Apply on blemishes twice a day with the fingertips and gently massage. A moisturizing cream (Acglicolic) and a solar filter (Sunny SeS) should be applied on top of it. On hands and legs, 3-4 applications can be made. For sensitive skins, apply once a day for 2 weeks and then increase to a twice a day. For very sensitive skins, mix 1-2 drops of Kojic with daily moisturizing cream (Acglicolic) and apply on the affected area with the fingertips. This reduces the strength of Kojicol but increases product tolerance. Kojicol constitutes an excellent combination treatment for actively eliminating acne. In these cases, Kojicol is recommended once or twice a day, over blackheads. Duration of the treatment: Kojicol should be applied for at least 3 months so that the effect can be completed. Results can be observed during the first 2-3 weeks. Once blemishes are cleared, Kojicol is recommended twice a week.
For the first 2 weeks of application, blemishes can be transitorily darkened due to the cleansing action on the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, if contact occurs wash immediately with water. People with darker skins are more sensitive to the application of Kojicol. In these cases, mix Kojicol with a moisturizing cream and a solar filter and apply mixture to the skin.

Dipigmenting treatment with a cream base and a high solar protection factor (UVA, UVB Filters, and IR c.s.p. SPF 30). Contains 2% Kojic Dipalmitate and 1% Phytic acid as main dipigmenting components. Kojic acid inhibits melanogenesis by blocking tyrosine (impeding tyrosine conversion to Dopa and its subsequent transformation into Dopaquinona) and inhibiting the activity of tautomerasa. Phytic acid is a potent antioxidant with the capacity to form electrostatic connections with the proteins, therefore inhibiting enzymes and inactivating tirosinase, playing an important role in the prevention of cutaneous abnormal pigmentation. AHAs eliminate the skin's superficial layer (cornea mantle), and Liquorice extract, with soothing properties, efficiently contributes to the whitening action of the rest of the ingredients.
Clean with cleansing milk, tone and let dry. Apply the product on the affected area with a gentle massage. In most cases, results can be seen after the first 4 weeks. The application will be continued for a minimum of 3 months. Should be applied twice a day, morning and night, before going to bed. For less sensitive areas such as hands and legs, 3 or 4 applications can be made. For its exceptional tolerance and high SPF, it is suitable for daily use.
Contains AHA. Do not apply on eyes and mucous. Discontinue use if irritation appears.
