ACGLICOLIC S treatment towels are made of salicylic acid, glycolic acid, hammamelis extract and triclosan, which act by eliminating oily residues, cleansing and sanitizing in depth oily, mixed or acne-prone skins. Salicylic acid is liposoluble, which allows it to be miscible with lipids in the epidermis and with sebaceous material retained in the follicles, producing an efficient exfoliation both at skin surface and inside the pores. Since it is formulated at an appropriate pH, it removes blackheads efficiently. Salicylic acid diminishes corneocytes cohesion by acting in intercellular spaces and altering the corneosomes or proteic structures that maintain the cells united. The comedolytic action is accentuated by the presence of glycolic acid, an AHA with keratolytic and anti-aging properties (it stimulates the synthesis of collagen and dermal glycosaminoglycans), reaffirming the skin, attenuating and softening expression lines, wrinkles, dark circles and under eye bags. Hammamelis extract provides a very useful astringent action for seborrhea skins.
Use once or twice a day, applying it with a gentle massage on the whole face.
Contains glycolic acid. Do not apply on eyes or mucous. Discontinue use if irritation appears. Do not use on children under 3 years-old.
